The following terms and conditions apply to all game hires:

  • Deposits/payments: A booking is not confirmed until a $30 deposit is paid. The final balance needs to be paid in full 21 days prior to booking. If booking within 21 days then full payment is due immediately to secure booking.
    Payments are to be made into our bank account 01-0274-0488293-00. Please put your name as a reference and email games@vgg.nz stating you have made a payment. Once payment is received I will email you back a confirmation. Please note we currently do not accept credit card.
  • Cancellation: If you cancel with 7 days notice or longer you will get a full refund of any money paid.
    If you cancel within 7 days the payment is non refundable.
  • Condition of games: The hirer accepts that games are presented in a working and clean order. The hirer will notify us of and accept charges for any damage to games, theft of games or missing pieces to games.
  • Injury: The hirer hereby takes responsibility for the injury to any person whilst using games and hereby indemnifies Big As Party Games against any claims made against it by anyone. Big As Party Games recommends that children are supervised at all times while playing games
  • Safe storage of games: The hirer agrees to not leave games outside overnight and ensures that they are stored in a secure area. As stated above the hirer will accept charges for any damage to games, theft of games or missing pieces to games.
    As a condition of hireage I agree to all the above terms and conditions as set out by Big As Party Games.
  • Return of games: The hirer will return games first working day after hire date. If unable to for any reason the hirer will contact Vintage Garden Games and advise. Late fees may apply starting from $20 per day. (excludes courier delays)
